Webster University Geneva is recruiting an Adjunct Professor in Biology and Genetics, for the coming academic year’s course plan.

Description

Specifically, the lecturer would teach two undergraduate courses as part of the BSc in Psychology: Human Biology (scheduled for Fall 1, 2018) and Human Genetics (scheduled for Spring 1, 2019), both introductory level.

Successful candidates will have a strong interest in student success and a commitment to quality teaching. She/he will also have an interest in working with students from diverse backgrounds with a commitment to inclusiveness, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Exercise Science or related field (alternatively, MD or Masters in Biology, Chemistry, Physics Exercise Science, or related field, and prior university-level teaching experience or professional work experience in the area of teaching responsibility).
  • Current expertise and substantial knowledge in the areas of human biology and genetics, preferably (but not mandatory) psychology.
  • Experience in teaching.
