The Signalling in Malaria Parasites group headed by Professor Mathieu Brochet within the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Medicine is seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates for a postdoctoral position. Our laboratory is interested in understanding how signalling regulates the development of malaria parasites during asexual replication in erythrocytes and early transmission to the mosquito. To address our aims, we combine a wide panel of approaches including experimental genetics, chemical biology, biochemistry, live imaging, and quantitative proteomics. We offer excellent support, access to state-of-the art facilities and an interactive and collaborative research environment. | |
Description The successful candidate will have the possibility, among other options, to lead a project aiming at unravelling the basis of cell cycle regulation in multiple Plasmodium stages and species.
