Wyon successfully develops and produces the smallest, customer-specific and proprietary lithium-ion batteries for medical applications.

For the cooperation in our material research and development of new and existing active battery materials we are looking for a

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (w/m)

Your Mission

  • Develop a new deep discharge technology from laboratory samples (already developed in house, patent pending) to production scale. Most important processes will be electrode coating with active material (anode) and electrical contacting of electrodes. This will be the main work.
  • Investigation of new materials (electrodes, electrolytes, separators) for Li-Ion batteries
  • Production of laboratory prototype batteries
  • Internal tests (cycling tests, safety tests, etc., REM-EDX, X-ray CT)
  • Support of the project team in material questions
  • Literature and patent researches

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in process engineering, chemistry, material science or similar
  • Practical experience in process development, best with Li-Ion battery materials
  • Independent work and enthusiasm for implementing new ideas
  • Very good technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Team spirit
  • Good command of English and/or German, spoken and written
  • Structured, analytical and clean working methods
  • High degree of quality awareness and personal responsibility
