The Organs-on-Chip Technologies (OOC) Lab at the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research of the University of Bern has an open position for a Postdoc Fellow in Lung-on-Chip Modelling to strengthen its lung diseases-on-chip program (initially for 2 years, possible extension). | |
DescriptionThe postdoctoral researcher will initially be involved in the development of an advanced inhalation model for drug discovery, based on the lung-on-chip technology and investigate the effect of breathing movements on nanoparticle toxicity. In a second phase, he/she will establish a new COPD/emphysema model-on-chip. The successful candidate will work towards high-impact publications, have a strong interest in technology-driven projects and enjoy supervising MSc and PhD students.
