Transportation systems are currently experiencing a fundamental transformation in their structures and organization, triggered by new technologies (self-driving cars, ride-hailing services, robotics, AI) and the development of the shared economy. “Mobility as a Service” and traveler-centric systems become conceptual references. The design, construction, maintenance and operations of technology-aware transportation infrastructures involves all transportation modes, both in urban and inter-urban contexts. | |
Requirements The successful candidate will have a strong research background in transportation systems as well as the potential to develop an innovative and internationally recognized research program leading to an outstanding record of scientific accomplishments.
